Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee of a plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was a young child, began her second-grade education at age five. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to take on a modeling job after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Soon after, Stone relocated into Europe and spent an entire year in Milan and Paris. Stone was, however, frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. Stone decided to continue her career acting as a model while she lived there. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed receptions.
